WHAT WAS BUILT BEFORE MARCH 2020

Before March of 2020, several prototypes for the transmission system with coupled electronics, and frames were fabricated by the team. Bellow are some of the prototypes built.

For the Frame, the pieces were 3D printed, but would have been made with the water jet and CNC Mills at Columbia University. The Transmission system prototypes also featured 3D printed components, along with laser cut components and water jet components. The final Transmission System would have also utilized the water jet and CNC Mills at Columbia University. The electronics were programmed to work with each specific Transmission prototype. In tandem with these transmission prototypes, the end goal of a joystick controlled system was also planned out, and successfully executed in this theoretical pursuit.
